The decisions are made by a group of core personnel consisting of several people, not just one person. We know the field very well, and have played on it in many conditions. We have a good feel for the field, and feel the decision is necessary, especially when there IS a possibility of snow and ice accumulations. The field is a bit more prone to flooding/extreme mud when the rain comes. Anyone who was at the last operation which we had cold weather mixed with rain on the field will agree with our decision to postpone it until next week.

Besides... it's just one week. Tune up your guns a bit more. My finger is itching to fire a gun as well, but everyone's safety is well-being is more important than trigger time.

Man i was looking forward to this but as long as nothing's going on next saturday I'll be there. For everyone thats impatient like me i might get something going at the MPP sunday to hold us over until next saturday, so if anyone else has got to get their airsoft fix this weekend too come on out. otherwise see you guys next saturday!

Sniper is correct, and I'm usually the last person to turn down a game of Airsoft. Many people will attest to that. The folks that were consulted felt a reschedule was the Right thing to do, regardless of how bad we wanted to be on the field ourselves. Lets keep the dialog going, as it helps us get a good pulse for making such go-no-go determinations in the future. We've been known for pulling together last minute games when there was enough interest for a good turnout. The intentions are for hosting more regular play dates at the field and work on building our numbers back to those we've seen in the past. There are already some ideas and behind the scenes legwork being done to help with this. Unfortunately our weather machine continues to malfunction though...

I was ready to see everyone also. It's been a long time for me, but one thing to remember .......IT'S STILL WINTER !!!!!!!!! and we still have Spring a commin'. We'll Pray that all is O K for next week-end. Billy how long will it take to get my battery ??? A week ???? i want ta shot something ..........

No promises, but since Skidude and I live close to the field, if we get enough support still, we can check on the field and road conditions around 8-9am or so and see how they are looking. The biggest concern is that part of the field could be underwater.

If we check it out and post a "Go or No go" tomorrow, who is still willing to come out and play tomorrow?
