http://www.wreg.com/weather/The decisions are made by a group of core personnel consisting of several people, not just one person. We know the field very well, and have played on it in many conditions. We have a good feel for the field, and feel the decision is necessary, especially when there IS a possibility of snow and ice accumulations. The field is a bit more prone to flooding/extreme mud when the rain comes. Anyone who was at the last operation which we had cold weather mixed with rain on the field will agree with our decision to postpone it until next week.
Besides... it's just one week. Tune up your guns a bit more. My finger is itching to fire a gun as well, but everyone's safety is well-being is more important than trigger time.
