xtra update: Jadux/Troll/Vionex and gang... just spent awhile looking for some good prices on sandbags for our bunkers/gunpits etc... found this place and deal:
http://www.911sandbags.com/ProductInfo. ... id=SAND100
100 count - Empty 14 x 26 White Polypropylene Sandbag with Tie String (White).
$30.00 bucks shipped.
i really wanted the brown or OD colored burlap (like Army surplus) bags... but though i found some, the prices on them were "OUTRAGEOUS." doh. i don't know how the polypropylene bags would work...much the same, i supose.
what do you guys think about them? and do you think a hundred is enough for now? (we can always get more later.) filling sandbags is a drag and hard work too...really a two man operation. we have a lot to do at first, and filling endless bags with sand right off the bat would seem very time consuming, that's why i though a hundred would be a good number to start with.
anyway...what's the group thought on this? worth doing or not? or do we even want them?
also, be possible for you guys to kick in a few bucks to help offset the cost of them if we decide to go with it?
as always, very open to suggestions/thoughts/imput.
Beo
